The community of Saint Andrew Heights is nestled right along the hills above Parkdale. The community was annexed by the city in 1910 and development started in 1953. St. Andrews heights is near the Foothills Hospital, University of Calgary, Market Mall, McMahon Stadium, bike paths, with easy access to the #1 Highway. The social hub of Kensington is close by as well as access to parks, trails, and the Bow River.
West Hillhurst
West Hillhurst is a northwest inner-city neighborhood, nestled along the bluffs close to Kensington and the pathway systems along the Bow River. Although annexed by the city of Calgary in 1907, substantial development did not occur until 1945 when many of the houses were built as Victory Homes for soldiers returning from World War II. This highly desirable community boasts many amenities nearby.
